Artist

Layla Moody is a Interior Designer, contemporary abstract artist, as well as owner of ArtisticMedia- a web development firm, in Houston, Texas. Layla has been involved in art and design since she was a child. She studied Visual Communications and Photography at The Art Institute of Houston in 1995-1997 and Interior Design in 2004-2006. She works in many mediums including but not limited to, stained glass, glass fusing, mixed media, resin, watercolor, alcohol ink, and acrylic paint.

Layla is best known for her vibrant use of color in her chosen mediums acrylic, resin, & alcohol ink. She enjoys the challenge of creating and changing a mood based on integrating colors, color schemes, as well as design elements. Her work has been sold Internationally to various collectors and has been in various publications including, The World of Interiors, House & Garden, and Voyage Houston Magazines. Her pieces ‘Celestial Sky’ and ‘Nebula Named Coleman’ are currently a part of the Exhibition Grammatiche Celesti -by Curator Stefania Carrozzini in Venice, Italy.
