Pixie Wings is an original contemporary abstract painting by Layla Moody, filled with luminous color, fluid movement, and an almost otherworldly sense of light.
Layers of violet, deep purple, sapphire blue, teal, aqua, and smoky black flow together in soft translucent forms, creating the impression of delicate wings unfolding within an abstract landscape. Shimmering metallic and iridescent details catch the light throughout the composition, adding depth and dimension that subtly changes as the viewer moves around the piece.
The artwork feels both mysterious and uplifting—somewhere between a dream, a flower in bloom, and the fleeting movement of wings. Its jewel-toned palette gives Pixie Wings a dramatic presence while still allowing it to work beautifully in clean, modern interiors.
Sophisticated, atmospheric, and full of movement, Pixie Wings makes a striking statement in contemporary, modern, transitional, and luxury spaces.
One-of-a-kind original artwork by Layla Moody.
Abstract. Hues of blues, indigo, violet, greens, gold, & copper, with iridescent sparkle. Alcohol ink on wood board. Resin Finish. 24"HX18"WX3/4"D
